52 Weeks of Happiness: List 8 – Things I Like Doing That Don’t Involve Technology

This is list 8 for  52 Lists of Happiness by Moorea Seal and this list to identify the things that you like to do that don’t involve technology. Here are 20 things that I enjoy doing that don’t involve technology. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of things that fit this category! Here’s my video on this week’s list if you prefer video over reading:-)

20 Things I Like Doing That Don’t Involve Technology

Number one:  Eating.

Number two:  Being with family.

Number three: Taking a bubble bath.

Number four: Praying.

Number Five: Meditating.

Number Six:  Journaling.

Number Seven:  Hanging out with friends.

Number Eight:  Taking a walk with nature.

Number Nine: Walking my dog.

Number ten:  Petting my dog Roxy, like just really loving on her.

Number 11:  Hanging out with the kids.

Number 12:  Cruising. Now, technically that involves technology because the machine and the engine and all that kind of stuff, but I really love to do that so I included it.

Number 13: Stargazing. I love just this clear sky and just stargazing.

Number 14: Painting. I’m really learning to appreciate and love painting.

Number 15:  Playing  board games like Monopoly, Clue,  Cards Against Humanity and other card games.

Number 16:  Yoga… I love doing yoga.

Number 17: Being on stage. I absolutely love being on stage and speaking.

Number 18: Rollerskating. I love rollerskating.

Number 19:  Shooting. I like practice shooting guns; especially with my son.

Number 20:  The last thing that I enjoy doing that doesn’t involve technology is sex. You know… we’ve  got to include sex.

It’s Your Turn:

That is my list. As you hear my list, other things, ideas on your own might come to be. You might be thinking yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It’s easy for us to spend a lot of time with technology.  I encourage you to take a half an hour to an hour this week, identify the things that you like to do that don’t involve technology and pick one thing…just one thing and do that this week. One thing that is on my list that I mentioned that I haven’t done in a while is a bubble bath, so I am going to do that this week. How about you?
