What the Story of Job and Law of Attraction Have in Common

In the Bible, the story of Job contains powerful lessons of faith, patience, attitude, determination, courage and wisdom.  Job overcame so many obstacles and tests of faith throughout his life. Yet, in the end, he received more in life to be grateful for. My guess is he received more than he ever imagined. Job was a selfless man, committed to his faith and family.  I like to equate Job’s life to the law of attraction.

A Course in Miracles states, “Infinite patience brings immediate results.” When we have patience, we are connecting to source and the love, energy and positivity comes to us more easily and effortlessly. Have patience that your goals and dreams are being actualized. Stopping short prevents the universe from manifesting it for you!

Amid all the trials and tribulations Job endured, he remained faithful to God and reaped countless benefits. He had faith that things would turn around and he had infinite patience. When we put the law of attraction to work to manifest something in our lives, sometimes we can stop short before it can come to us. We are impatient and want it NOW.

Imagine what you want in life and let the universe conspire to give it to you. Release any judgment about how it should happen or what the outcome will be. Exercise infinite faith and patience. Know, feel and believe your dreams and goals will come to you at exactly the right moment.

Namaste,

Tandy

Yes, patience is definitely worth cultivating. In a world where instant gratification is what people want we are missing the beauty of the gestation period. Everything has its’ own time to grow!

Indeed, Deb! Thanks for your comments. I visualize everything has its’ own time to grow as seeds in the ground waiting to sprout and push through the surface:-)

I keep telling my wife that I need to trust the universe and have patience that my current plan of action is actually going to work. Unfortunately, in part because she has never been this poor before, she is having a hard time with that type of logic. The difference between us, I actually understand the economics behind my business for I have been a freelance writer for a several years already.

Morgan, keep your faith! I’ve been in a similar situation. If you believe in your heart that your course of action is your passion, purpose and what you should be doing now, stay the course! Don’t stop short of the seeds pushing through the surface to become a beautiful plant… or handsome plant in your case. The universe does provide. Thanks for sharing.
